MAGO THERMAL SUCCESSFULLY ACHIEVED SOx LEVEL 6 ppm from their Designed “FGD ” Flue gas Desulphurisation System.

MAGO THERMAL DESIGNED PROTO TYPE FGD to Certify CHEMICAL MASS TRASFER in their designed FGD.

FGD installed with 31 TPH, 65 KSC, 490 DEG C steam Boiler running at 90 % Petcoke + 10 % Coal.

Flue gas containing SO2 was supplied from 31 TPH Steam Boiler ID FAN OUTLET via MS DUCT connected with

New BOOSTER ID FAN for prototype MAGO FGD.

Booster Fan Outlet is connected with Variable Throat Ventury.  Ventury is connected with FGD with MSRL pipe.

Ventury is equipped with water spray nozzles. Water tank in placed below ventury.

Ventury has been provided with water seal in water tank below ventury.

The flow of flue gas is controlled using VFD / Dampers.

PFD TRIALS

Trial Conducted on 13-10-2017 and Parameters is as follows :

Boiler Steam Load during Trial (approx 95 % of rated capacity) : 29 TPH

Flow : 3096 CMH

SOx inlet : 2445 ppm

Inlet flue Temp : 112 Deg C

OutLet SOx ppm :  6

outlet temp : 40 Deg C

pressure Drop In system : 170 mmwc

MOC of Absorber  : SS 316 L

Tank : PPH

Piping : CPVC/ MSRL

NaOH Pump : SS

Detail Reports and Graphs has been generated and analysed. MAGO FGD recovered  99.9 % of sulphur with minimum NaOH consumption . Cost of operation which is less than Rs 60 / tonne of steam for less than 400 ppm.
