WHAT IS SELECTIVE NON CATALYTIC REDUCTION (SNCR)?

Selective Non Catalytic Reduction (SNCR) is a well-known method to lower the level of Nitrogen Oxide in flue gas emissions from a boiler system. The system injects a reagent (usually ammonia or urea) at the combustion level of the boiler where the temperature of gas is between 850 and 1050 degrees. The reagent reacts with Nitrogen Oxide produced during the combustion process to produce easy manageable products including molecular Nitrogen, Carbon Dioxide and Water.

WHY SELECTIVE NON CATALYTIC REDUCTION (SNCR)?

Air pollution norms as recommended by government gives rise to the need for industries to safely dispose of gases in the environment. Selective Non Catalytic Reduction (SNCR) is a proven and advanced active emissions control system. The system has lower investment cost and can be installed in a few days.
