Selective Non Catalytic Reduction (SNCR) is a well-known method to lower the level of Nitrogen Oxide in flue gas emissions from a boiler system. The system injects a reagent (usually ammonia or urea) at the combustion level of the boiler where the temperature of gas is between 850 and 1050 degrees. The reagent reacts with Nitrogen Oxide produced during the combustion process to produce easy manageable products including molecular Nitrogen, Carbon Dioxide and Water.
